A 1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT bought pristine by Rolling Stones guitarist, singer and songwriter Keith Richards, is now up for auction.
The car, designed by Enzo Ferraris son Alfredino,is powered by a 2.4 liter V6 engine that deceased from traditional Ferrari design by being a mid-engined car. Thus, the car got flattering reviews on its handling side and became a popular collector car all over the 1970s.
Indeed when Keith Richards, who bought this car pristine in February 1972, returned to England from the United States in 1975, he made sure to give the car with him and understand it registered to his take in hand in London.
Richards kept the car until 1986, and it has useless an extended full stop in a Japanese collection ever since. It is accompanied by a letter from Rolling Stones manager Alan Dunn confirming Richards ownership, and the mileage up to April 1986... 25,000 miles. Today, it has 28,000.
