CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago-area home where Ferris Buellers friend Cameron very well killed his fathers respected Ferrari finally has a new owner.

Crains Chicago Business reports that the modernist home in Highland Park sold Thursday for $1.06 million.

Craig Hogan is regional director at Coldwell Banker Previews.

He wouldnt pronounce who bought the four-bedroom, steel-and-glass house built on the tone of a wooded ravine.

The house, built in 1953 by Mies van der Rohe-protege A. James Speyer, was primarily put on the market in 2009 planned at $2.3 million.

The smooth house was featured in John Hughes 1986 silver screen Ferris Buellers Day Off as the home of Cameron Frye, played by Alan Ruck. As soon as the Ferrari crashes out of the glass into the ravine, Ferris tells Cameron: You killed the car.
